Hi There!

I'm Maya Nyquist, a therapist who believes that our relationships—with ourselves, our families, our partners, and our past—shape so much of who we become. I'm passionate about helping people heal old patterns, navigate life's transitions, and build relationships that feel more secure, authentic, and fulfilling.

As the eldest daughter and granddaughter of four immigrants, I know firsthand how family, culture, and unspoken expectations can shape the way we move through the world. My hope is to offer a space where every part of your story is met with curiosity, compassion, and genuine understanding.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me with Taylor Swift playing, eating sushi whenever I get the chance, or convincing myself that this is the perfect time to adopt a dog. I believe healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time, and I love bringing warmth, humor, and authenticity into the work we do together.
